Merchandise value refunded to customers.

How it is calculated

• Money refunded beyond the itemised lines and shipping (for example a goodwill refund) is included as a refund adjustment.
• Refunded shipping is taken out of Shipping charged, not here.

Reading it

• Format: Amount in your reporting currency.
• Lower is better (an increase is shown in red).

Where it appears

• Overview and Dashboards — add it from the metric picker (Revenue group).
• Custom metrics — use the variable returns in a formula. See custom metrics.
